Structure of an Umbraco page

Structure of an Umbraco page

A short while ago I was asked to do a presentation to a company that was interested in using Umbraco and wanted a short overview of what Umbraco is and how it works. As part of this presentation I thought a diagram of how an Umbraco page is structured would help with their understanding of the product.

After a quick search online I found a hand drawn diagram on Matt Brailsfords site

This was exactly what I was looking for, except I thought it needed to be a bit more polished for use in a presentation. So I took the good work that Matt had already done and reworked it for my own presentation

This diagram was really well received by my audience so it's probably something you might want to consider using yourself when explaining how Umbraco works to someone.

I'm happy for you to take a copy of this for your own use, which you can get here.

If you do take a copy, I'd really appreciate it if you could credit me as the source by linking back to this page and /or recommend my Facebook page.

Thanks, Paul
